Prime Ministers
In ancient China, the highest position a non-royal can attain is the prime ministership.
They get land, they get money, and they work closely with the emperors.
Though they sodem live long, every time there is a policy screw up, off with their heads and that of their family.
I have no idea why people keep working as prime ministers in ancient China.
Here are some of the reasons why a prime minister can be killed:
- Failed policy
- Sucking up too hard
- Not sucking up
- Too successful/influential
- Arguing against the emperor
Usually they are given 2 choices, poison and have a good burial , or beheading along with ALL of their family.
Family = Mother, Father, Wife, Children, Grand Parents, Cousins, Cousin's Children, Teachers, etc.
