Backpacking
Backpacker's hostels seem to be all the rage here, tonnes of businesses are setup around this market. Toronto has some too, but not nearly as elaborate, I think.. not that I paid much attention.
A stay in a room with 7 other people will cost $28AUD each day... And there are places like this.
I checked out 2 places near the Central Station, WakeUp and YHA. They look quite hip and decent, with information about how to book trips, find jobs, etc.

Looks like a lot of fun, lots of people hang out and go through the place.
I wonder if I'm tool old to do something like this though.
