Big Buddha
I went to the Lin Po monastery to check out the big buddha built on top of a remote mountain.
It's really built in the middle of nowhere, but some entrepreneurs decided to build a cable car service there. It will not be open till the end of June, so I had to take a bus. I met some gwai-lo called Mathew from Toronto in the bus lineup. The bus trip was really treacherous, steep hills, narrow single lane roads, Chinese drivers.
