Cousins, all day

It's been a Chinese style family gatherings/binge eating day. It is interesting to meet my cousins again, some of them are all grown up to 20s, others stress about just being pass 30.

It is also interesting to see the difference between families, the open, happy bunch, versus the emotionally repressed downers, versus the anti-social single guys. And it's really all one family, such a huge difference, having stuck up parents can scar your for life, seems like.

We went back to Times Square 12th floor for dim sum, us rowdy bunch hung out there chatting for a whole 2 hours, the poor manager at the restaurant had to gently remind us to leave. The bill came out only to HKD$750 for a table of 12, seems like the restaurant gave us a steep discount. That's one thing about hanging out with dad, you never know how much wink-wink nudge-nudge is going on, they always give him special treatment and special discounts. I suspect that he may be a Chinese mobster, except I haven't seen any guns or machetes around.
