MTV Asia is quite cool, it airs music in Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Korean and Japanese.
I was just channel surfing, and they put on one of RAIN's Chinese songs. It was practically a jingle for a handset manufacturer called Pantech. If you haven't heard of Rain, you probably will eventually, he's some kind of Korean David Usher.
I guess if he's already a pop culture sellout, why not go the extra step?

So I wonder, how much does Pantech have to pay MTV to air this stuff, or does MTV air it like a normal song?

What, you don't like Rain, he's so cool & cutey! :o) ha, yes, he's very huge in 'han guk' & his name literally means 'rain'....but I still think David Usher is better!
