Dad's bookcase

My father has a good collection of business books, you won't find the Da Vinci Code here. The Ikea bookcase is obviously straining under the weight of the books.

I always admired him of the constant self improvement. You can tell that he buys the books based on what he had to work on at the time... hehe ... so last minute craming runs in the family..

"Strategic Planning" - we need a plan! we need a plan!
"Differentiate or Die" - the analysts say we look just like another conglomerate
"Understanding Electronic Commerce" - oh sh-t what is this eCommerce thing
"Logistics Management" - umm I need a crash course in how to run a container port, now!
"Business Analysis and Valuation" - how do you buy another company again?
"Brand Leadership" - great, need to look good..


He always makes me read this stuff, I find some of them interesting - but these books simply depresses me because of how far they are from the "real life" of a lowly office worker such as myself.
